The test asks a number of questions, including how engaged you are with music, if you consider it an important part of your identity and whether you rely on it to change your moods and emotions.

It also includes some musical tests, so you can see how good you are at grouping together different musical styles, memorising tunes and recognising the beat in a piece of music.

Don't worry, even those with no musical training can take these tests and do well.

At the end of 'How musical are you?' you will receive an individual musical profile, with scores on five different dimensions of musicality, plus your scores for the musical tests.

By relating your survey responses to your performance on the musical tests, we'll find out which aspects of musicality are affected by musical engagement and which require formal musical training.

So tune in and try your hand – you might find you're more musical than you think!

Un test de musicalidad que está bastante bien. Hay que registrarse (tardas nada y no hay que confirmar el email) y se tarda unos 20 o 25 minutos en completar, pero vale la pena.

A mí me ha salido esto:

En "group the music" he acertado todas las de Jazz y Rock y he colado una de Pop en Hip Hop y viceversa, y las otras no han ido del todo mal. En la de seguir el ritmo la he pifiado bastante porque primero estaba siguiendo lo que no era y me he dado cuenta a mitad de la prueba

a mi también se me han mezclado las de pop y hip hop, pero bueno es que había una que era latin claramente y digo, alomejor han puesto la categoría "músicas del mundo" o vete tu a saber

digan lo que digan las de rock se identifican mejor

Pues yo las que he identificado más fácilmente han sido las de jazz, las de rock sólo tenía clarísimas dos.

En el de marcar el ritmo fallé 2. Volviéndolo a hacer me he fijado que ha sido porque subdividía, pero bue, me ponen un medium

Lo de diferenciar los estilos, los que más dudé fueron entre pop y hip hop, los de rock son sin duda los más fáciles de asociar, los de jazz los segundos más fáciles.

Y la última prueba es hiperfácil, yo pensaba que te iba a poner un trozo de una canción al principio, y luego varias seguidas para compararlas con la primera.
