Para traducirlo se me ha ocurrido una idea buena a la vez que estúpida. Traducirlo como en los típicos juegos infinitos de postear número, di algo sobre el anterior... Se postearía una hoja en inglés y cada usuario que quiera postear traduce una página(en orden). Se puede objetar sobre la traducción si se quiere. Yo, u otro en caso de que le apetezca y lo hace antes que yo, sería el encargado de poner las páginas con los diálogos en inglés.

Yo ayudo.

No es casi ni ayudar, traduces tu frase un día si te apetece, si no lo hace otro, y se sigue hasta que se consiga. Incluso los que no leen se pueden animar.

Si alguien encuentra One Shots y lo quiere proponer, también, pero cuesta encontrar algo que no esté traducido al español y sea viable.

Es que hay un problemo, como no estoy seguro de que participe nadie(salvo tú) pues tampoco me apetece mucho gastar mi tiempo, además que ahora mismo no puedo subir nada. Pero todavía hay esperanza.

A mi no me importa traducir, si os hace falta.

No es que haga falta, es que a la gente le apetezca hacerlo. No se trata de un traductor que lo hace todo, es que unos cuantos colaboren mientras practican un poco de inglés que nunca viene mal. Es más, cada post es para una frase, no que alguien traduzca la mitad, otro un tercio y los demás el resto de una tacada.

Grumfs. Para esto te hacen falta varias cosas:
1- Llevar un "diccionario" de maneras de traducción de temas concernientes a la historia. Te pongo un ejemplo claro: Slayers, y su conjuro más famoso, el "Reena ikari no Doragu Sureibu". En inglés lo pusieron de dos formas: Drag Slave y Dragon Slave. Eso conllevó que en español el mismo hechizo tuviese dos nombres: "Droga de esclavos" y "Matadragones". Para más inri, el poema del conjuro en sí, tuvo más de 12 traducciones diferentes en inglés. Acababas hasta los cojones porque anda que no habría sido sencillo llevar anotaciones de cosas como esta y que los traductores utilizaran siempre la misma manera de traducir la misma cosa.
2. Fuente de letra adecuada.
3. No basta la traducción solamente, muchas veces hay que hacer adaptaciones para adecuarse al espacio de escritura (espacios demasiado grandes o demasiado pequeños).

El mayor curro es el de la edición, la traducción no lleva curro alguno salvo que el nivel de inglés sea el de un niño de primaria. Pero luego andar editando, jode.

Laffayette sería la fuente elegida, que le puedes poner acentos y todo(tengo otra que sería buena pero casi no tiene símbolos y sin acentos), eso en principio lo iba a hacer yo. Y las traducciones se pueden corregir por los demás, lo pone en el primer post del hilo, e imagino que se mantenga el criterio en las técnicas si las hay(pero como se traduce del inglés...).

Lo que más tiempo te lleva, tienes razón, es la edición, pero pasar al hilo todas los bocadillos también.

Yo cuando lo hice con un oneshot me tomó bastante tiempo, pero la idea era usar el inglés(yo no es que tenga un gran nivel) y no me importó. Ahora mismo la idea es que la gente participe y no voy a gastar el tiempo si no interesa(que yo lo entiendo) y como ya sé un poco lo que hay al traducir y editar paso de hacer yo la mayoría que tampoco me aporta mucho.

De momento ya digo que la cosa está parada.

Si alguien quiere ponerlo en marcha yo ayudo y lo edito, como he dicho no puedo subir ahora mismo cosas, por lo que ponéis en google "Hades Project Zeorymer", en principio son dos tomos de un manga de robots.

La forma en llevarlo a cabo sería poner el script de cada página en inglés y que en cada post, debajo de cada frase en inglés, se añada la traducción en español. No se puede doblepostear, y pondría que no se puede poner algo si no han posteado al menos dos usuarios después de ti, pero igual se para por esto y no lo pongo.

La cosa se puede editar en el primer post con links a los posts o con spoilers.

Con organización se puede hacer todo, asi que el asunto es ponernos manos a la obra.

Lo del diccionario-glosario lo podemos llevar en otro hilo, a modo de referencia, el resto es llevar cuidado y consensuar la traducción más o menos literal con la que se termine poniendo teniendo en cuenta el espacio y la acción, asi que tampoco le veo mucho problema.

Hombre, yo ando mal de tiempo, pero me interesa hacer traducciones del inglés al español para practicar y porque siendo lo que yo estoy estudiando, me va a venir en parte de perlas mientras tenga alguien que me ayude con las dudas o los errores que cometa, que soy un poco garrulo a veces.

Mañana, prácticamente seguro, empezamos.

Las primeras páginas del capítulo 1 ya están. Y la descarga de los dos tomos en poco. Ya sabéis, un post para cada frase de traducción(si es una palabra, podéis hacer el siguiente, os dejo. La traducción debajo de su frase.
